    Default D*mn Logitech Mice...

Anyone else use Logitech mice? I've used them for years and have generally been a fan but I go through them at an alarming rate.

I have an MX Revolution Cordless Laser that has suddenly stopped working (& for no apparent reason). It's less than 6 months old. All the LEDs light up, the battery is good, etc but no movement on the screen so I've had to plug in my notebook mouse (also a Logitech).

Is it time to switch back to Microsoft? Or what about one of these high-end Razor mice (though the idea of switching back to a cable doesn't appeal).

I need something that is robust enough to be used 12 hours + a day, day in day out

I primarily use a Logitech MouseMan Optical that is at least six years old. It gets heavy use daily and works as it did when it was new. It also has a nice, solid feel.

I was checking out some mice in a store the other day, and I do notice that many of them seem more fragile and lightly-constructed than my older mice. Maybe some brands or models are less physically durable than they used to be.

I have an MX Revolution that is about 2 years old and gets used all day every day!!
It's even survived 3 months travelling overseas!!

Maybe you just got a bad one?

I've got an old Logitech mouse (about 6 years old) which still works! I've also got a newer better one which works well.

I've never had a problem with Logitech.

I'm actually liking using this Logitech Revolution notebook mouse. I just have to keep a stack of AA batteries close by

    Gotta hate batteries!

I wonder if wireless electricity would ever happen, just a spontaneous thought. We have wireless everything else!

Problem with wireless electricity is your hair always stands up....

Seriously though there are a few now with the power dock to save all the battery swaps... I have been using one the high end MS ones for a few years on the home office machine with no issues.

    Cheers,
    Aaron

My past few have had the power docks. Including the dead Logitech that hasn't been recycled yet
