    Talking RoundCube on the Way?

I noticed this in a recent post by Matt R. on 6-2-2008:

"We're rolling out upgrades to the latest version of Cpanel. This has improvements in the logging engine. It also has RoundCube."

Do any of you have the new cPanel? Is this awesome webmail really finally coming to us? Is there a Web Host Appreciation Day?

I hope it comes soon, it's looks so much better than Horde and Squirrel Mail.

I am a new customer and my cPanel does include RoundCube. While it might be good, not saying it is or isn't, I prefer to let Gmail via Google Site Apps handle my domains email. Their spam protection is second to none IMO. And with 1,000 6+ gig accounts for my domain its far more space than I'll likely ever need.
    Thanks,

I would agree with you MyWebs, but I like having a webmail with my website. I don't have a ton of users... (me)... so space is not really an issue. It would also make my clients that also have hosting with WHB happier, since most of them are not very computer savvy, and RoundCube is rather friendlier.

Normally what will happen is we'll deploy the newest build of cPanel on a select few servers, and watch them intently for a certain period of time, before upgrading all servers.

One of our techs can chime in, but the server-wide updates should be rolling around soon as far as I know, since I haven't heard of any major issues with the latest build.

With that said, I like RoundCube personally as well.
