hello all clients n staff
one fine day i was experimenting with my cpanel theme
i am having a budget account
the default skin is x3
but there is one difference bw/ rvskin and x3
which is
u can divide the logins in rvskin
likewise a person can operate only emails and another just few webhosting factors
you still have control over their activities

but as far 1 feature thats forgot password doesnt work properly in rvskin.
which made me impossible to use it.

so x3 is best but rv has a plus feature over x3.

in cpanel u are not given authority to move from x3 to rvskin
but it can be done manually
all u have to try...
i did that and later, had to request for a support..

it can be done by
yourserver:2082/frontend/rv*
* here may change

but DONT DO IT.

for whb cpanel x3 is best

if you open theme.html
or more files you would be switched to rvskin
then there is no way that one can get back x3 till, u submit a request

if staff is reading out this.

please go through it , it increases ur work.
so better lock this directory

Results:Opening the specific files in above directory switches from x3 skin to rvskin
where as in cpanel we dont have permission to change it.

I finally know how to get the rv skin now! It's been disabled. I love the rv skin!

I liked RV as well; I never had any trouble with it. At one point, though, after cPanel was upgraded, my account froze the server whenever I made a subdomain. They upgraded my cPanel, and I ended up with x3. I never bothered going back simply because the quick-search is convenient, and I haven't found x3 to be that bad.

I finally know how to get the rv skin now! It's been disabled. I love the rv skin!

there are few bugs need to be fixed in rv.
so better use x3.

Hi,

Yes, rv skin is not officially supported by cPanel vendor. So we had to disable it in order to prevent incompatibility problems.
