So I'm cleaning out my email today and got to thinking....
How many emails does everyone routinely keep open in their inbox? Whether it be work, personal, etc.
I'm scared to admit mine.

I keep very few in my Inbox, typically between one and 10. I keep only those messages that require action soon. Otherwise, I move messages into various folders. I have lots of messages in IMAP folders.
Too many to count, even by folder. My PST file is 3GB with 1GB archived.
I'm looking forward to the new WHB Exchange server!

I tend to keep a lot of emails in my business & personal inbox. Either:
- Items that require action
- An email to serve as a reminder for something related
- Emails I don't have another folder for yet, and need to be filed at some point
I started using tags in Thunderbird for organizational reasons, but by doing that I started letting the not urgent and not important emails build up and sit since they aren't flagged. Current tally on 2 email boxes:
25 - Personal
330 - Business

Thank You Google Apps =]
I've got 3 in my inbox, all from today that require an answer. I'll probably get to them before bedtime.
I just don't believe in letting these things back up - then it becomes way too much work to deal with them.
