It depends on what type and quantity of traffic you expect. Most new sites probably start with cheaper packages, only moving to more expensive ones as site traffic increases.
I wrote this back in 2007. I am going to post an updated article soon..
Reseller Web Hosting Business Startup Guide
FWIW, I believe that WHB has focused too much on very-low end of the business. That attracts price-prioritized clients who have no loyalty and are often the ones who abuse accounts. I think migrating to a higher-price model with better service and less-crowded and hopefully more stable servers is the way to go. Many of us would prefer to pay more to have improved server performance, better customer support and fewer problem clients who abuse servers and whine about any tiny price increase.
Happy clients who want good service and performance are less price sensitive and more loyal.
We are working on our pricing model and you should see changes post cage migration for new customers. We do not plan to change prices for existing customers.
thanks guys ..
Safvan pls tell as about your start ?
sorry 4 my english
Hi Gullhost
I am not sure if I understand your question but if you mean when we are going to make the change then I can predict this happening in the next few days. I am not certain about the date though..
