Default Banish unwanted television from public spaces

A brilliantly subversive use of technology. Find out, in this new article on the WebHostingBuzz Blog: http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/blog/2...public-spaces/

Seen it a while ago, pretty cool gadget. You can also make a high-power version yourself: http://www.ladyada.net/make/tvbgone/
This should be paired with a portable cell phone jammer for maximum comfort.

Yeah, that DIY kit has an even greater range. I can think of plenty of situations where that would be useful.

You're so right, a cell phone jammer would be good.

Agree with disabling cell phones, but I can't say as I've ever been bothered by a waiting room TV. It keeps the kids occupied at the Dentist's office, and gives me something to look at in the airport.

Why did you link this to a blog article instead of just posting it? Are you or WHB thinking of manufacturing something like this?

Hoping to alert folks to the existence of the blog, to increase its traffic.

Well, you can always use it for pranks. Let's not rule out its main purpose.
