    I don't think I could ever use a keyboard where I couldn't see all the keys. Too many years of hunt-n-peck typing.

    Yeah, if you hunt and peck then the split boards would just be awkward. But, for a touch typist, I found I quickly got used to the changed position and found it much more comfortable. It was a big improvement.

    You should be able to learn to use the one with the two domes though, since that doesn't require actual typing.
