Don't forget to hit 'publish'. Any solar keyboard would be useless in my room because it's so dark most of the day. We do get a lot of sun at sunset, but if I'm not on break by then I'll close the drapes.
??? What do you mean? I believe I did publish it. It's certainly live and available for viewing.
The keyboard charges under regular indoor light, and Logitech says that it stays charged for at least three months in total darkness. So, you might be fine with it as it could charge when you do have light, and run off stored power during the hours that you don't.

Dunno, all I'm getting at that link is "You do not have permission to preview drafts."
Unless I'm in the middle of no where such as in the jungle typing my adventure, I might use this gadget. But having a solar powered keyboard doesn't really make sense as stated that most of the typing mostly occur indoor. Maybe they should have created a solar power netbook or laptop, then that would have been more impressive.
That's odd. I checked it on another computer the other day and it was fine. But now, today, when I check it I'm seeing that same error message as you.
Edit: I've updated the URL. Seems to work properly now.

waterproof mp3: "Solar" in this case doesn't mean just sunlight. It charges with normal room lighting.
Solar calculators are the same: they're called "solar" but they work under even dim room lighting.

Very cool idea! Even if it didnt run with normal indoor light its not hard to get full spectrum light bulbs. They contain the entire sun spectrum minus the harmful UV frequencies. A lot healthier anyway and Im sure the keyboard would run with full juice this way. Heh, the keyboard AND the operator would. ;-)
I think this could be useful for some but I do no think it would work for me at all. I like to work on a shady room with just the monitor lighting up the room. I am not a loner or what but I can concentrate on what I am working on that way compared to working under the sun where I can see a lot of things that could distract me.
