But it don't reflect connectivity to sites hosted on the boxes, ...

That's quite true, Colin. For example, there was a major permissions problem on rs7, and many accounts did not have 99.961% uptime.

Unfortunately, I don't know that there's any way to monitor that, since it can vary depending on each individual site.
