Email quota

Before i host a site with you, i'd like to know how much quota does each email address have assigned in the silver budget web hosting plan? Is the disk space the total quota? or is there a limit?

You can assign whatever quota you like for each mail account, up to the quota of your entire hosting account.

how come the budget plan is cheaper than the business or reseller one even though they offer lower bandwith and disk space? is there a catch somewhere?

I suspect that some of the details on the reseller and business plans are outdated. I know that new plans offer certain standard features that those pages say are optional, so it may be that the quotas are also outdated. WHB may have upgraded its offerings but not gotten around to updating those pages yet.

As Alan said it is up to you to set your email quotas. Now regarding the business and reseller hosting plans.

Our business hosting plans have been created with a power user in mind which means it is ideal for those users that require more CPU and RAM for running of their websites compared to the ones that have low end needs and typically prefer budget plans. At this time we only host 40 business accounts on one server.

Reseller hosting is mostly for those users that want to provide hosting to their own clients as if they were their own web host. It also comes with WHM control panel which is used to control various aspects of the resold web hosting accounts.

In short you can take

1. Budget hosting plans as a bulk low cost deal.
2. Business hosting plans for high traffic mysql intensive websites.
3. Reseller hosting to provide hosting to your clients.

Saf, I think some of the details on the reseller plans page are outdated, based on statements from WHB staff in these forums. I think you've enhanced some of the plans, but have not yet updated that page.
