    Default Moving from Italy

    Hi,

I came across your website and I found it very interesting. I'm a web designer and I'm currently hosting my websites with an Italian server (I'm Italian). I'm quite happy with the support but considering the Euro exchange rate to the USD, you are by far less expensive.

I browse through the forum and almost everybody seems to speak highly of your tech support, that's why I decided to ask you some questions useful to make an informed decision. My current server uses WHM and Cpanel and my sites are hosted on a Linux platform.

I'm a Mac user and I would be interested in the Startup A plan.

    Here are my questions.
    1. Will there be any problem to move my sites (Linux platform) to your server?
    2. Some of the sites feature the Viper Guestbook. I know the Viper project has been discontinued, but my current server still offers it with the Fantastico plan. I noticed you didn't mention it among the features offered with the Startup A plan. How could I transfer all the guestbook, database included without loosing any comment?
    3. How do I transfer all the sites to your server? Will you help me to make the whole process painless?

I'm just a designer with a limited technical knowledge so I will need a lot of support. to go through the process.

    Thank you in advance, Gianni

    Gianni,

Further to Dan's reply, you should find our services very fast. We have extensive connectivity and peering into Europe from our East coast locations.

Piacere. Il benvenuto, spero che lei troverà questo luogo buono. Ho creato un sito web bilingue in inglese ed italiano. Ci sono delle persone qui che può aiutare lei.

    Ciao

Thank you all guys. I just purchased the startup A plan and I'm waiting for its activation.

Alan, I''m quoting, "Ho creato un sito web bilingue in inglese ed italiano", what do you exactly mean by that? Where is the Italian section of the site?

Finally, Matt...Italy vs Spain...that still hurts.

    ciao Gianni

Not this site. As you know, I wrote that I created such a site. I am not WHB staff, so the site I'm referring to is not the WHB site. It is one that I did for an Italian client.
