Default Thinking of upgrading to Reseller....

I am thinking about moving my reseller account over to WHB as I currently only have a personal account here.

Can you tell me how many reseller accounts are on each box though?

    Hi,

    Glad to hear that

And I bet you`ll be glad to hear that our reseller servers have about 40-50 accounts only.
So there`s enough space and performance for everyone.

In order to make all the things clear, I`d better provide you with reseller account
    transfer procedure at once:

    - You create back-ups of your and your customers` accounts.
    - Upload them to your WHB account.
    - Submit a ticket to our technical dpt. (at https://www.whbsupport.com) and request back-ups restoration.

This has been never easier, I guess

Looking forward to upgrading you soon.

There are usually around 75 resellers per server, depending on account type and server spec.

If you have more than a couple of domains, a reseller account is the way to go. Administration is simpler and you'll have more control. I would never go back to regular shared hosting accounts.

However, you'll suffer the same risks as on a shared server: overloads caused by morons running insecure or resource-hogging scripts; potential blacklisting of mail server caused by clients using accounts for spam; etc.

Some resellers are safe and responsible, such as me, because we do not actuall resell but instead manage all the accounts ourselves. However, many resellers sell client cPanel hosting accounts to anyone who wants cheap hosting, and these are often the accounts that cause the problems.

The only way to escape the risks of shared/reseller hosting is to upgrade to VPS or dedicated.

    Hey,

Yup I have replied to the email I got about this asking Vita to upgrade me to Pro A =)

Cant wait to transfer, it will really be much easier to have ONE whb account that does everything rather than two seperate hosting accounts with seperate companies.

Possibly in future you will need to use more domains, and you will be able to create separate cPanel account for it, so I think Reseller package is the excellent solution for you.
