    Default Free domain registration?

If I upgrade to annual hosting do I get free domain name registration? I started with 3 months to check WHB out and so far have had a very good experience - when the 3 months is up I am ready to commit to longer term and start migrating the rest of my sites!

15 registrations with the Reseller-B plan, is that correct?

I think if you upgrade you will get the free domain name registration.

How would we go about registering a new domain name?

If you have registered all the free domain names with the package you bought, then you will need to register a domain on an external site, the one at ipower.com is cheap, only $6.50.

You'll need to change the DNS settings to direct to your current hosting, then add the domain into your parked domains list in Cpanel.

I think thats how it works.

I'm sorry to report that this is not exactly how it works. I happen to have an account with ipower and it was excruciatingly difficult to get it into their hands. The owner of a domain registration CANNOT change his own DNS settings. Besides that, the original hosting company (in my case, gkg.net) folded their arms and said they do nothing at all to help in this matter and it is entirely up to the new hosting company (ipower) to transfer the domain. When I reported this to ipower, they folded their arms also and said gkg is wrong, they must take the steps to transfer the domain. I spent two months and about 20 email messages plus several phone calls, finally having to resort to a threat of legal action before ipower finally transferred the registration. I suggest that anyone who does not register initially with the host that they want is taking a big risk.

Now I am contemplating transferring the registration to whb but I am again afraid of what I will have to endure to get the registration moved.

The domains are for annual purchases only, if you upgrade email domains@webhostingbuzz.com and our domains team will register them for you.

Thanks Matt, It only took a month and a half, but I did get an answer (from someone that actually knew what they were talking about). It has been mentioned several time elsewhere in these that you will be providing more domain registration services, maybe even a domain control panel, is that something that will be happening soon?
BTW - I did upgrade to an annual plan! I haven't used any of the domain registrations as I prefer to be able to control the dns setting myself.

    Yes, soon.

We're not going the ICANN accredited route ourselves as it's timely and a waste of resources, but I just got back from some meetings with a major registrar who's backend we'll be using

It is coming, I know it's a PITA us being able to register but not transfer domains... it's very high up on our priorities.
