    Thumbs up Reseller Questions [SOLVED]

    • Do you run "suPHP", "phpSuExec", or something similar on reseller servers?
    • Do you allow shell access to Reseller accounts. (I'm not concerned about each domain created having shell access, just global access for the reseller... me)
    • If I purchase the Reseller-D package, currently it comes with 200GB of HD space. I am assuming that WHB oversells these servers. My question is, by how much? Also, what happens if it gets capped out? Do you start moving a couple of the Reseller accounts to other servers to free up room?
    • Currently with my shared account (WHB), I have to submit a ticket to get certain DNS changes make to get email to bounce off to Google. Will I be able to make these changes myself for my clients, or will I need to push that ticket up the pipe to your guys?

    I tried to be as thorough and ask my questions in one post. Let's hope that I do not have more later. Thank you for providing this great service at a great price.

    I have since found out that most of the WHB staff is at a "Hosting Conference" in Chicago (I think that is correct). So, I assume that is the reason that this post went unanswered the last couple days. Last night, I decided to submit a ticket as I needed the answers. Like always, I received a quick response:

    * Unfortunately, we don't run "suPHP", "phpSuExec" on our reseller servers.
    * Yes, we do allow Shell access to Reseller accounts, but if you want to have Shell access to each client, you should have a dedicated IP for each who would loke to have SSL.
    * You need to send all your specified requests concerning DNS to the Help desk

    * Concerning oversells you need to contact Billing department so they will assist you.
    ... I responded back about "suPHP" and "phpSuExec". I may or may not add the rest of the discussion in the Support ticket to this thread.

    @WHB - I hope I did not break any rules by posting staff responses in support tickets. I just wanted to make sure that future users would have this info.

    UPDATE:
    Please, be notified, that we have an php working in cgi SuExec mode, so it is already installed.
    ... this is on all Reseller Servers!
