Default Emergency Server Data Migration (completed)

We need to inform you that we will be performing emergency server data transfer from the current server to one of our most recent servers with more powerful hardware and the latest software installed. During the latest hardware check we performed due to recent performance problems, we have found that the server's motherboard is faulty, and as we don't have a replacement in our spare, we have decided that the fastest way is to transfer the data to a new server.

The new server has the following specifications:
    Dell PowerEdge R720 based server
    2 x Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5 processors
    16 GB RAM
    RAID10 storage system

As far as the express transfer presupposes no interruptions either on source or the destination server, no significant downtime is expected to be experienced.

However, some actions on your end might be needed as well. And here is the detailed information about the migration process.

    1.1 Source server: ss4.abstractdns.com

    1.2 Destination server: server27.abstractdns.com

1.3 Main shared IP address of the destination server: 74.81.74.42

2.1 If you already use our current anonymous name servers (ns100.whbdns.com and ns101.whbdns.com), you do not need to make any changes.

2.2 Those of you, who use third party name servers (pointed to IP addresses unrelated to WebHostingBuzz) should modify A, CNAME, MX records accordingly.

2.3 If you use a dedicated IP address, please submit a ticket to Technical Support at our Helpdesk in order to get a new IP assigned to your account Helpdesk

We will take all the measures to make downtime during the transfer as minimal as possible. However, there are technological moments which make short downtime inevitable. This is the time needed to update DNS zones on name servers on the source server. It is necessary to point all records to the destination server. This trick gives possibility to make the described updates in item 2 painlessly.

It is advisable to subscribe to this forum thread for latest updates on the transfer progress, all the updates will be posted here.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Irina I.
