Search bug

In search you can write a 3 letter word but search return no match.
Try "ssh" and you receive no match.
Try "secure" and you receive some of the "ssh" match.
If there is no possibility to search for 3 or minus letter write it in search windows and write a specific message in search result.

That's a limitation of vBulletin. You'll need to add an asterisk to the end of 3 letter queries in order for them to work.

Actually, it's a MySQL thing. See my post here. My request never went anywhere.

The asterisk trick doesn't work for me, only returning one thread when searching for "ssh*".

Sorry for my late response.

A bug is a bug:
try search for "ssh*" return only 1 thread.
try search for "secure" return this 2 threads with "ssh" inside title:
http://www.whbstatus.com/showthread.php?t=411
http://www.whbstatus.com/showthread.php?t=570

The search for "ssh*" must return at least 3 results: the previus two threads and this thread.

I think that this is a BUG (IMHO).

Now try "this", no results.
Try "this*". Incredible (or this community write often in katakana) only 3 results.
