Instant New Thread Notification on whbsupport.com

Hiya good ppl of WHB,

Recently, I've notice a few guys mentioning about getting notifications via e-mail on the server maintenance and also downtime problems and one of the suggestions that you guys proposed is to subscribe to the thread/forum.

I would like to say that currently, the option for subscribing to a thread/forum is either daily or weekly e-mail updates only.

Unfortunately, I think this defeats the purpose as by the time we receive the e-mail notification; the event has passed and some clients would have blamed WHB for the lack of notification before the downtime occurs (unless he/she manually checking this support site).

So... can I suggest that you guys activate the instant new thread notification for the Server's Announcements?

That way, whenever you guys updates the announcements; an e-mail is sent instantly and less one reason for ppl to complain about lack of notification.

I second the vote. Might I add this is a "no-edit" mod for vbulletin, requiring very little setup.

Heck, another no-edit mod I'd like to see is rowmOVA. It allows you to click anywhere along the row to jump to the last post, instead of having to zero in on the tiny little "go to last post in thread" icon.
