Out of date apache on panda server

Almost a year ago the WHB staff needed to revert the apache on the panda server to the 1.3.41 version. I was wondering when apache will be upgraded again to version 2.x? Even though everything works atm I'm afraid some webapplications I would like to use in the future (gallery 3, ...) will no longer support version 1.

At the moment of Apache service upgrade from version 1.3.41 to 2.x we faced the problem with SSL. The certificates were actually not working at all. So we were forced to revert to the previous version. We are currently aware of how to solve this and upgrade will be soon scheduled for this server. We will post a new forum thread about that in ‘Server & Network Announcements’.
