Any chance we can get the default MySQL searches set to a 3 character minimum? Since the MySQL manual says the server has to be restarted for this I thought I'd ask here rather than open a help ticket.

Of course, if anyone knows how I can implement this myself, please share. My users are understandably upset at not being able to search for common terms like PHP, RSS, etc.

Go ahead and open a support ticket and I'll have know of our senior admins review the request and let you know whether we can do this.
