I moved to a VPS as well, but with WiredTree. Would be interesting to see how the VPS comparison is, but these guys have been fantastic. Ticket response time is measured in minutes, not hours. I suspect they are quite a bit more expensive than WHB but, hey, you get what you pay for, right?

Out of curiosity, what is "equal share cpu"?

Oh, one other thing. I'm not sure what equal share cpu is, but I like how WiredTree does their hybrid VPS, which is what I've got. WHB should look into something like this.

I wasn't asking about pricing. I was asking about "equal share cpu". That's a pretty vague term to use when it comes to a) how much cpu you're guaranteed and b) how many other VPS's are on the same physical machine.

Our servers have approx 20Ghz of CPU power (8x2.5Ghz). This is shared equally between all the VPSes on a server (around 20). Of course, not all VPSes will need the CPU at the same time, so this is the best method for getting maximum performance.

After upgrade from bronze to gold VPS package, I'm experiencing a problem which is quiet annoying my earnings The server seems slower and I see server load at this time is around 23-26. Yesterday, I can't access WHM due to problem. I had been in ticket and it worked fine but the server still seems slower.

My ticket id is SAH-455932, it's been closed already since the server is running. But at specific time, it's very slow (slower than when i took bronze package, i think), I've been parking 3 domains within the VPS that likely make the server busy but it still happens. I'm now looking for tutorials about server load and CPU usage on VPS including PHP-mysql performance.

I am not sure this is a Ticket/ Helpdesk for WHB, but I am sure Matt will see this and respond , he is that kind of person, he care's about the customer, as far as learning the VPS is basically the same as a stand alone server , except for a few things ( can not change Kernal ect.) I also have a VPS plan and have for over two years now, the PHP version I would say keep it up to date 5.3 I think is the newest, for load balence and CPU usage it is a hit or miss type thing untill you figure it out, I am sure you can find stuff online if noe send me a pm and I will find it for you.
