    Default New VPS Customer

    I just received notification that my VPS is up and running. Is there a DNS server setup that I can configure with a web interface? Or will that be up to me to install and configure?

    Hi and welcome to WebHostingBuzz,

    Our VPS customers normally run their own DNS/nameservers and your VPS comes with 2 IPs for this purpose. You set this up through WebHostManager (if you chose the cPanel option), or Webmin or the command line if you did not.

    If you wish to use our DNS cluster you can though, submit a ticket to tech support and we can configure this for you.

    As Matt says, most VPS clients want to use personal nameservers. You don't have to do this, but there are many advantages. These two blog articles will help to inform you:
