    Default Difference Between Hosting & Domain Server

    Hosting is the server that store your website page.


    (Much the same as a house that host you)


    Domain server stores your web address (eg google.com, yahoo.com)


    (Much the same as you personal residence that indicate where you remain)


    So when somebody write in your web address, eg yahoo.com or Custom Dissertation, they will query at the domain server to discover where your webpage is facilitated. Simply after they can discover your website name in the space server, you site page will be shown.


    (The above is a basic outline as it were. To dive into more detail will acquire more terms that should be clarified)

    When you register a domain, it gives you sole ownership and rights to the name of your site. No one else in the market has the access to the actual name of that particular domain besides you where as A web hosting normally refers to the web server (big computer) that stores lots of data files).
