Default What do they mean by "reboot server"

My site is on shared9 and has been down all day. It said that yesterday they rebooted around 1 p.m. and yet on into the next day, my site is still down. I am wondering if they have a more descriptive way here of telling you what is going on with your specific server.

reboot literally means to turn off and then back on again. perhaps open up a ticket and make sure your IP isn't blocked for some reason..

    that happened to me before

"You can reboot a server in one of two ways. A soft reboot uses the operating system’s reboot process so that applications are shut down gracefully. A hard reboot halts the instance and then restarts it, similar to turning a computer off and then on."

Reboot server means turn it off then turn it on again, it is required when there is some kind of problem with the server or if it is not working properly. so it is necessary to check everything, And you should also do security static code analysis
