    Default MySQL Server?

Since it seems the only version installed on hosting accounts is MySQL version 4.1.22-standard-log
I was wondering if there are plans to update to a newer version antime soon?
I do have scripts that will not function on the older version.
Also the current version is rather old.
Looking forward to any answers to this.

(p.s.) Sorry i originally posted in the wrong section.

We will update to other versions of MySQL 4, but we have no plans to use MySQL 5 anytime soon.

From the chart I just pulled from their site, it seems 4.x is already obsolete and 5.0 has about a year left. 5.1 is in RC and 6.0 is out and in Alpha.

Most the scripts I run are compatible with 4.1 but recommended for 5.0 with an emphasis on upgrading to 5.0 for future updates.
