    Question Really Slow

Hi, this is starting to concern me now, I am trying to run a ecommerce site on my reseller and the website seems to load really slow. I have posted a ticket before and i was told the Apache needed to be restarted after that the load speed was somewhat decent, but not up the the standards. The site is not receiving any traffic yet, i am worried when the site is ready to go live...is your server going to handle it?

You need to find out what server you are on. Obviously it makes a difference, as issues are normally specific to a server and not to the entire datacentre. Also, once you know your server you can check the Server announcements forum for that server.

We finished some basic optimizations of server software settings which are believed to improve the situation, and now RS16 is going through normal resource usage audit cycle. Audit should be finished today.

Please accept our apologies for server performance issues and any inconvenience that might have been caused by this. And thank you for your understanding

I'm experiencing speed problems as well. I'm on the shared Cat server and it's been extremely slow for several days now making it very hard to use main sites, forums and even update files on a test site. I won't run my business on a server that gives a page view every few minutes. Is there any solution to this? My sites have had server problems for weeks now which makes it harder by the day to keep the hopes up.

EDIT: Morning after (european time), speed was considerably improved. Remains to see if general traffic load affects this during the day.

If you have a problem with performance, put in a ticket. Chances are that if there is a server problem then it will already be being wrke on, but it wll at least allow techs to keep you in the loop.

Sorry, i was expecting to see something in the announcements for the specific server. Will throw in a ticket next time it happens, although i'm still a bit surprised that there doesn't seem to be any script alerting techs as soon as there's a performance problem anywhere?

At this evening, the server is up to speed btw.
