Default Can we install new binaries?

Title says it all. I'm not sure if this is permitted or not. I'm on the largest business package so I don't see how it'd be too bothersome.

My website is a social network. I'm taking the next step and implementing an API for users to design apps for their profiles like myspace apps, etc.

Google has designed the system that's universal to social networks. Allowing developers to only need to learn 1 API, but it requires a few new binaries.

Can read about it here: http://code.google.com/apis/opensocial/container.html

I'm wanting to know if we're allowed to have new binaries installed or not.

Hopefully this isn't a dedicated server only thing as that'd be very disappointing. I can't afford a dedicated server, but as I get more traffic for ad revenue I do intend to purchase one. However I need the traffic. Providing a feature like this attracts a lot of traffic.

So is it or is it not possible?

    Thanks in advance.

You would need a VPS or a dedicated to do this.

Well that sucks to hear. Alrighty.

Guess I'll have to wait till I can get a dedicated server.

    Thank you.

VPSes start at $35 per month so quite affordable.
