Where to paste html code for a Paypal button?
Hi,
I want to use PayPal's Shopping Cart to sell some items from my website (which I created using cPanel). After I have generated the code in PayPal I am supposed to copy it and then paste it on my webpage. Problem is when paste it into the source section of the WYSIWYG area the code changes and thus does not appear as it should. I then tried pasting it directly into the html section (the code also changed when I did this but I went through step-by-step and corrected it) but it didn't appear in the WYSIWYG section??
Can anyone help me??? Where do I paste the code and how do I stop it changing?
Thanks

I don't understand where you are pasting the code, or how you built your site. It sounds as though you used some WYSIWYG tool, and it likely does not properly handle pasting of straight HTML code.
You should edit the .html page directly in a text editor (e.g. NotePad, NoteTab) and paste the PayPal code at the appropriate location.

I am having a great time around here. Found a lot of useful information from this platform. Keep up doing this good work.

The idea of "distributions" and "projects" doesn't appeal very much to me, at least if I am not sure that after installing that distribution I still have a standard Drupal installation with which i can do whatever I like. This is why I have never considered Open Publish or Tattler, at least not for flexible projects that need customization. Perhaps if I had one specific project (like an online journal) and I found a perfect distribution for my project I would use it, but not as a customizable solution for a varied community...
