    Default cpanel security?

when I try to go to mydomain/cpanel it gives me a choice of

If you are not behind a firewall that blocks port 2083

    or

If you are behind a firewall and can not connect to port 2083

If I chose not a firewall it gives me:
    Secure Connection Failed

lowridedickies.com:2083 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed.
The certificate is only valid for shared5.ultrawhb.com

    (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

    * This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.

    * If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

If I chose behind a firewall it gives me:
    Address Not Found

any help with this would be wonderful. I'm completely lost.

    Hi,

You need to tell your browser to allow an exception - i.e. to trust the certificate even though it's not for your lowridedickies.com domain.
In Firefox you do this under Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption > View Certificates > Add Exception then type in the address and click 'Get Certificate', then tick 'Permanently store this exception', then click 'Confirm Security Exception'.
In IE, er, I dunno, as I don't use IE! I think a bar will pop up at the top and you have to tell IE to allow the blocked content. Then once you're viewing the site you can click on the certificate error area and view the certificate and install it, which will cause IE to allow you through to the site next time. I'm sure someone else can give clearer instructions for IE.

    Hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Adrian
