FTP Port # question

I'm a bit new to this whole thing, but I've been pretty quick at picking things up.

my question lies with uploading content from an FTP client program, for the host, username and password, I know what to put, but it's the Port # I'm having trouble with.

Any Ideas?

The default port for FTP is 21. That should already be filled in by whatever app you're using. Don't change it unless you know what you're doing.
