    Default mysql in terminal window

I'm trying to use mysql in a terminal window. I can connect but I get many connection errors. Errors 2013 and 2006. Is there anything I can do to remedy this. Or is this just going to be a painful experience.

    Hi,

As far as I understand you are trying to access the database remotely, but the remote access for mysql service on shared, reseller and business servers is blocked.
You can connect to database remotely with our VPS and dedicated server packages only.

Also I recommend you to contact our technical team at http://www.whbsupport.com by submitting a ticket, they handle such issues and will provide you with accurate information.

Actually, since I am ssh'd into the machine, I should be considered a local user. The problem is not that I am blocked, because I'm not, I just get many errors where the database is not available.

    Hi,

Please provide us with the exact command you are using to connect.
