The MX record issue has been fixed. You may check the details in your ticket reply. Unfortunately we can't tell what caused the misconfiguration.
Please do not hesitate to immediately contact our technical dpt through the Help Desk if any problem occurs.

    Hello,

I can't say for sure what casued the misconfiguration, but probably it was some kind of software bug. I believe it will not occur again.

calvynlee, just before you had the mail reception problem, had you added any external backup Mx servers to your DNS Zone or Mx record? There is a weird cPanel bug that can occur when doing that, which has affected me in the past. If that's what you were doing, I may be able to offer a way to workaround the cPanel bug.

I didn't know that you could host your domain's mail on Hotmail. I know Google allows it. Are you sure your Mx record uses Hotmail? Or, are you forwarding mail to Hotmail, which is different?

Mail sent from your web site will attempt to deliver locally, meaning on the WHB server. You'll need an address on the server to receive that mail, as it won't go direct to Hotmail via the Mx record.
I am not WHB staff and I am not paid.

The problem seem like come again, I try to make an order via my website, but I did not receive any email from hotmail application.

but I try to check my webmail, it arrive there. Wheres all other email, such as yahoo or gmail , all able to arrive my hotmail application

this mean that all email from the domain (hosted at this server) that i host over there will arrive my webmail.

I am setting the MX record, every email that email send to me will be receive at my hotmail, (just like google apps, hotmail also have this service)

I setting my mx priority to 10, do I need to set higher? such as 20 or 30?

Mail sent from your web site will attempt to deliver locally, meaning on the WHB server. You'll need an address on the server to receive that mail, as it won't go direct to Hotmail via the Mx record. It could do so if your domain were removed from the server's localdomains list, but then I think it would not allow your mailer to send from the server.

Is this for your domain icalvyn.com? That domain is not using Hotmail as primary mail server. That domain has two Mx records:

    icalvyn.com. 14400 IN MX 0 icalvyn.com.
    icalvyn.com. 14400 IN MX 10 1141688804.pamx1.hotmail.com.

What that means is that icalvyn.com is the primary Mx handler, while Hotmail is just the secondary Mx handler. The lowest number (in this case zero) is the primary Mx.

There are ways to deal with this but, really, if you are not an advanced user at cPanel and DNS, I suggest that you use a mail account on your WHB server to receive your auto-generated client orders and support tickets. The setup will be simpler and I think you will understand it better.
