source from server

I am apart of this forum group for photography, their forum doesnt let you upload picture to their server. I wanted to host the pictures on my site server but I can get them to show up on the forum when I souce code it. Ive tried everything i tryed setting the permissions to 777 but nothing seems to work, it just comes up on the forum as a missing file icon.

Can you please submit a ticket to our technical department at http://www.whbsupport.com, providing us with detailed information about your account and location where you would like to put your images? It is required for investigation of your issue.

More detail would be helpful. Can you view the images from your web server via URL? Do you enter that same URL, including "http://" in the IMG tag at the forum? Please provide URLs of some of the images so we can check.
