Sites & Email Down -urgent

okay, This is unacceptable. I am wondering why my sites are down, I cannot send email, get email, or load/upload my sites.
I run a BUSINESS and this much downtime is not acceptable. Been down all morning and I cant get emails or send emails.

the servers are ns100 and ns101 (I think thats the names, I cant tell since my hosting is DOWN). my main site is empyremedia.com

I can reach your site fine from here. Perhaps you have a routing issue with your ISP. You should always check with an on-line tool to see if others can reach your site, before stating that it is down.

Yes, your account is hosted under shared4 server, there is hardware maintenance on it now, technicians are replacing network card. We experience some issues during more then 5 hours. ugh, yea of course it works now. .. well, it did for a few minutes. it is on and off. It would be nice to get email notifications when my sites and email are going to suffer down time.

same here, shared4 is down and no email notification has been sent. How is this possible?

We use this forum in order to notify our customers if anything serious happens on the server. If you subscribe to our forum it's possible to set email notifications to your email address if there are some serious posts on the forum. We are very sorry for such situation.

Right. Go to your server's forum and select "thread Tools" near the top. Choose "Subscribe to this forum>Instant notification via email".

Err, BIG PS required, use a free email service with a messenger notification system with which you subscribe to said forum to. That way, when YOUR email goes down due to a server fault in which they will post a notification to in said server notification forum, you still get the message because it's not going to your now inaccessible email, plus you get a wonderful popup from the messenger with the "You got mail!".
