    Default SSH hacked

My other host (HG) has disabled SSH for two days now due to some recent (undefined) vulnerability. The villagers have torches lit and are about to march on the castle.

But there hasn't been a word about it here.?

I believe WHB uses CentOS and BSD. BSD has always been known for security, and CentOS is basically just RedHat - also known for their security and reliability. Quite possibly, WHB's choice of OS has simply meant that things are running smoothly.

We also keep all our software updated which reduces vulnerability as well.

If you have any specific information regarding this please let us know, we'll gladly investigate it

No, they're being very secretive about it (understandably). Today they announced if anyone needs to run SSH commands to contact tech support and they'll run the commands for them. They were hoping to have it back online by the end of the week.

i sense that your computer has been messed up by viruses. it really slows down the performance. use trusted anti-virus softwares to remove this.
