A few items.
Hello,
First of I want to say thank you to WHB for the quality uptime and having a real person on the phone at 3am!. But I have a few questions I want to ask and see where we can go.
1. I've been a loyal member paying $36 a year for about 5 years. My account comes with 3gb of hosting and I want to update that but I don't want to jack my price sky high. The amount of bandwidth I have is more then enough I just think 3gb is too low for today's stuff and even if I paid a few dollars extra I get something like 400gb of space? is there anyway I can upgrade the amount of space and nothing else with out taking a bite out of my wallet? I only want 30gb tops.
2. Speaking of bandwidth I've noticed my speeds to the site SUCK at best I'll get 88k a second. The reason I want more space is because I do a weekly podcast and offer my show to download. Because the server is slow I had to go out and buy a separate host but after a few months and getting more and more downloads I quickly hit his low bandwidth cap.
I totally understand I'm on a shared server and that I'm not guaranteed a super fast connection by any means but anyway we can rectify this as I plan on dropping my second host and I will be hosting everything on my server with you guys.
3. over the years I've had various domain names and what not is there anyway I can clean out old dead ones and what not when I do plan on moving my stuff over I plan on bringing about 7 domain names with me and I like to have a neat tidy cpanel
That is really about it I've enjoyed your services and have recommended you guys to many people over the years I love the fact that I have the option to cheaply pay for a years worth of hosting at once and not get nickled and dimed to death.
Please get back to me on what we can do to take care of these issues.
Thanks for your time.

Thank you for your feedback. It's good to hear it from a long term customer
Over the years, we have improved our image a lot from that of a pure budget hosting provider to one of a reliable, reputable hosting provider who caters for a wide range of needs. We have increased our pricing (for new clients only) but I still think we're affordable in the market place. Many of our competitors will try and get you to pay for 5 years upfront or charge a large setup fee if you choose to pay monthly, and having recently done a study on the server infrastructure used by major competitors, we come out on top by a long shot.
So if you could provide more details on the bandwidth/download issue, that would be useful. Personally my connection gets maxed out at home from all of our servers so do not witness an issue. Could you provide a traceroute?
One thing you might consider and I'm not sure if this is in your budget, but if you are cancelling your other hosting provider, what about combining your account here and your secondary account into one of our new accounts (with a lot more disk space) or reseller or VPS?
There are a number of coupons for discounts floating around, sometimes our sales staff issue them, other times you can just find them on fatwallet.com etc.... but I'm sure you can find some to shave some money off our services too.

it looks good until hitting Ca4.Newark1.lvl3.net but oh well. Early next year my hosting and what not comes due I'll see about upgrading my account.

That's odd with hop 16. I'll submit it to our upstream and see what can be done.
All new types of accounts are setup on our servers in Atlanta where we have a private suite/cage. NJ is our secondary location these days. Try a traceroute to our main website and see if you get better network performance?
Paying yearly is an option on all account types and there is usually some discount associated with this too.
