Default Setting Up A New Domain?

If i was to buy a year domain from a third party website, how would I be able to manage it on my account, if possible on WHB?

    Thanks in advanced,

    Can you elaborate?

You could register it through namecheap.com, set the DNS to point to our servers, then add it as an addon domain, or if you are a reseller create an account for it in WHM.

Will this allow me to create the site (aka upload files, create / manage databases etc.) for this domain?

    A reseller account would.

Addon domains give you ftp and email for the extra domain.

Would this mean I would need to setup a new account with WHB with a new domain to allow the use of databases?

    Thank you for the replies.

No, you would just create a database on the main cPanel login, and point your app to that database.
