because you guys are awesome.

when i signed up 2 years ago, my account stats were:

1125gb of space
7500gb of transfer
3 free domains

since that time, you guys are offering packages at a better price with the same (if not more) features + 4 free domains. even though i'm not even close to maxing out on space/transfer, it would be nice to have that extra domain.

what are the chances of my package being upgraded to what you guys are currently offering? from what i believe, i am paying a few dollars extra a month than the gold plan that's offered. this isn't a make-it-or-break-it ultimatum and regardless if i get the extra features, i'm sticking with WHB. but it would be nice to get updated account features.

You can switch to the new plans/prices at any time. We're very happy to have you renew so I suggest you send in a billing ticket and explain the plan you wish to switch to. This will involve a server change but you may get a better deal. If you've paid more than this plan would normally cost, we will either refund the difference or add it to additional months of service.

you're fast. that's why i love this company.

i checked my billing record, it looks like i'm actually paying less for my plan on a per-monthly basis + i have a 5% student discount as well.

if this requires a server change... if my IPs will change, will be a little problematic for me since i'm doing a few different things that require DNS-to-IP A-level subdomain redirections (i run a counter-strike source/left4dead community with 4 servers using subdomain redirects)? or would the change be seamless?

honestly, all i really wanted was the extra domain since i'm going to implementing a couple pet projects on my account... a satire mag on my primary domain, a website for my mother's fashion house on another, and i have a couple other ideas brewing. space and bandwidth is not an issue for me. so if this will cause any billing/transfer issues, i don't think it's worth the headache.

It probably isn't worth changing then for the sake of a $8/$9 domain. We're actually reducing the domain names included in plans (obviously only for new signups) this week because I still think we're competitive, even with slightly fewer domains.

www.namecheap.com is our sister domain registrar if you want a good price and great service on the 4th domain. All the registrations we do are through them.
