    Default Overload again??

Seriously, WHB was said to be a great host. I was referred to WHB by an Admin site forum I frequent. I must say I am less than thrilled with WHB so far.

The server my first site was put on has been slow more times than I can count. When I moved my second site from A Small Orange to WHB, I was put on a server in the middle of an overload and it being rebuilt so the FTP was shut off.

I have no idea how a new site setup can be put on a server in the middle of an overload and rebuild. Further, of course WHB is having issues with the same server again today because it is overloading. Thus BOTH my sites that are hosted on this server are down.

Of course, they do not know why, nor do they know when it will be fixed.

Needless to say I am less than pleased with WHB and will be switching to a new host provider.

What server you're hosted on? You can PM me if you want, I'll be glad to investigate the issue.

We had to reboot several of our servers today for different reasons, and yes, few servers are still in the middle of RAID array rebuild (that's what you're talking about I guess). Servers are usually functional during that, however array rebuild has certain I/O performance impact, and in some cases may require disabling non-critical services in order to keep core functionality unaffected.

I did send a PM to Dennis, but I don't see it in my Sent items. I hope you got it and can help me out.

Dennis, I just sent you a PM as I am having issues again. I keep getting error pages that the connection was reset by the host.
