Default Emails Sent to Non-Hosted Domains Failing

Alright, I've have decided to tackle my "Relaying not permitted" issue. I have a registration form that sends (or is supposed to) an email to the email address they typed in. Works fine for the email addresses that I have hosted on the server, but when I try to register with a hotmail or gmail address, it fails with the relaying issue.

I've done a bit of digging and still really don't have my head around it. Among others, I 've read:
    http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/forum/...-function.html

    http://www.webhostingbuzz.com/forum/...s-changes.html

How would I go about allowing a form/mailer (on my behalf, "from" a WHB-hosted email address) to send email to...you know, the rest of the Internet?

Currently the form/mailer work perfectly...it's just that the email always get sent to...me.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
