    Default Email Not Working

OK, my sites got moved to a new server just now. All of my sub-sites (other than my main domain) come up fine. Still no idea what is causing my main to not come up.

Anyway, my email accounts all log in fine, it takes the password, and says there are no messages. When I go into cPanel and use webmail, there are 23 messages waiting. Hmm..

So.....I change my password on cPanel and try to login again. Now, it won't even accept the password that I just changed it to. So where is the disconnect? Instead of mail.mydomain.com, can I put in an IP address? The shared server? Something?

    Default

    Hi,

mail.domain.com is the default and correct setting to use. Can you try pinging this and see if you get the new or the old ip address? It's possible your ISP has not yet updated their cache, so this is resolving to the old ip. If this is the case, then you can get around it by manually specifying the new ip.

    Hope this helps
