I know it "became overloaded", but not being able to post in the Venus forum makes it a terrible place for discussion.

Ironically, I was in the middle of uploading the 758 files that come with a vanilla WordPress. I would hope that the 8MB wouldn't bring down the server....

We apologize for any related inconveniences. Currently our technical department is working on the server and we will post a reply in a proper thread as soon as we have any new information.

Venus is one of our original servers so it isn't up to our current specification but it is very lightly loaded. Upgrades are planned for our oldest batch of servers before summer. You can also switch to one of our current hosting plans which gets you an upgrade to our most recent servers if you prefer.

We still monitor and maintain all of our servers meticulously.
