Default Static Addresses Change After the Hosted Site Migration

If you paid extra for static IP address from webhostingbuzz for your hosted site, it changes after server migration. I Had to put in help ticket to find out the new static address. It would be nice if WHB had sent those with static IP their new addresses.

    Dear Ralph,

We have decided to transfer the accounts of our old and valued customers to newer and more powerful servers of new generation. We have notified all our customers about the transfer beforehand, the threads were opened in appropriate server branches on this forum. These threads contained all the details and recommendations for our clients, and they were being updated during the very transfer procedure to keep customers informed. Moreover, we have sent e-mail notifications to contact cPanel addresses of all our customers from the servers in question. We apologize for the related inconveniences, but we have taken all the measures from our end to inform our customers about the data transfer in a proper way.

Default nope, no direction for those who paid extra for their own unique static address

No, the e-mail and forum link in it only referenced the common shared "virtual hosting" address to be used by people who did not pay WHB extra money for a unique static address. There was no mention made, for example, of my rsiegler DOT org 's static address of 242 DOT 14 DOT 98 DOT 65, for which I pay an extra yearly fee to WHB and for which I had to open a help ticket. The first responder to the ticket only sent a repeat of the shared "virtual hosting" address, after my insistence a second responder had to reply before I learned of my new static IP.

    Ralph,

Sorry for this misunderstanding. We will consider your suggestion and will try to implement a similar system in the future.
