Default Just what does Server Transfer for Reseller1 Server mean to a resellers customers?

Okay, this is probably an obvious question but what does the notice about moving rs1.whbdns.com to a new destination server of rs21.abstractdns.com mean?

Perhaps I am the only one who read the notice about the move and wondered what does that mean for me and my hosted customers? My primary question is does moving mean that Cpanel access for customers goes from 65.98.100.178 to 69.72.240.66 ?

If so it is not a big deal but not a small detail either. Do these changes not effect anyone who is not doing things with anonymous, private label or personal name servers.
Or am I out in left field here? A technological newbie asking a silly question with an obvious answer? Or are there other customers who are curious?
Which is why I'm exposing myself to disdainful chuckles about a newbie by posting it in the forum instead of a direct tech support ticket.

Yes, after the transfer is performed, the links with the previous server IP (65.98.100.178) will not be valid anymore, so you will need to use the new server IP: 69.72.240.66.

The old anonymous nameservers will be re-pointed, so there will be no need to update the nameservers for your domains, if you are using those. If you are using your own private label nameservers, you will need to submit a ticket at our Helpdesk for our technicians to issue new IP addresses for your nameservers.

If third-party nameservers are used for some of your domains, make sure to update the A record to the new server IP address.

    Hello Vitaliy

    Thanks for the reply.
Moving servers is fine but this announcement was not very clear about how it will change access for some of my customers and I must admit to being rather disappointed about how this was announced.

I would suggest that in the future when threads were opened in appropriate server branches on this forum they specifically mention detail like, "tomorrow morning your bookmark to cpanel isn't going to work anymore!"

I believe that detail deserves big print and small words. WHB's tech support is good but customers should not have to ask questions to clarify notices like this that effect our customers.

    Regards

    Robert
