    Default Staging a new site

    Dear All,

I'd like to setup a new website to replace my current site. How would I go about installing a new wordpress staging site and then moving it to the correct location once it is ready?

I'm assuming installing it on a subdirectory, say staging, and then using the file manager to push it up to www root won't do the trick. Or would it ?

    Thks!

We normally create a subdomain called development.domainname.com and use this as our staging site when doing work internally. When its ready, you can transfer it manually or ask us to transfer it (we'd be happy to help).
