Default WHMCS no account on thier site?

    Hi Matt/Team

Hoping you can clear something up for me?

I took advantage of your great offer for WHMCS and paid my subscription.
after installation and activation proccess i went to thier website client area and logged in, with
    username: (email address)
    password: (as provided)

I saved my username and password in my browser as usual..
All looked good and well, i was going to take advantage of thier enom offer for a free account but thought i'll do it tomorrow as the hour was late
Next day i went to log into WHMCS nd wa sgiven the usual login details incorrect etc..
Tried a couple of times as anyone would, then tried a password reset with my email address, entered my email and got a reply and dually logged in, went to my account and changed my password to one i would remember.
To cut a long story short when i went to log in again it tole me login details incorrect so tried again and still nothing.
eventually went through my WHMCS installation and opend a ticket for support, which in reply gave me a new password for my client area logon tried it still no luck
after numerous emails back and fourth they tried logging int my account and said they entered ok?
So i tried again and still no luck, so i gave up for the day, this was yesterday.
Today i tried doing a password reset again using the same email address and it says... "No client account was found with the email address you entered"

Once again opened a ticket in support and waited for a reply..
    Got an email saying..

    Hi Steven,

As you have a license from a reseller you would need to contact us using this link for support: https://www.whmcs.com/members/submit...ep=2&deptid=13

You do not have a direct WHMCS account as you do not have a license directly from us.

How can i have an account one minute and none the next?
How can i not have an account on thier website because i purchased my license through you?
I take it you pay them for licenses and you rightly so offer these to your clients, so why are we not entitled to the same resources as WHMCS clients?

    Regards
    Steve

    Hello Steve,

It's true that we don't create a client account at whmcs.com for those who get their WHMCS license from us. So any paid addon you want to order from WHMCS, let us know and we will invoice you accordingly through our billing system. Installation files are available in your client area with us as well.

As for your existing account at whmcs.com, you must have ordered something from them before. You wouldn't see our license key there.

    Hi Maxim
I have never ordered anything from WHMCS which is why it's a bit confusing?
I logged into the WHMCS client area with only credentials supplied when i ordered the lisence from you and to have my client area password reset by WHMCS made it all the more confusing.
(i have the email to prove it)
But also what i cannot understand is the fact that yes i pay you for a lisence and i believe that you also have to pay them for it to ?
So why are we not allowed to take advantage of services offered by them also? Like a free Enom acccount etc..
We still hold a valid lisence for the product but classed as second class citizens because we didn't get it off them ?? If that's the case they shouldn't have companies reselling the product if thay are not going to treat everyone the same as if we'd bought a basic license off them.
If as WHB states this license is a discounted basic then we should be entitled to the same privelages as the rest. The only difference is WHB uses it as a marketing tool to encourage sales of thier own products.
    Is this not so?

    Regards
    Steve

    Hello Steve,

It's just the way we deal with WHMCS, the only way they allow. All of the licenses we provide our clients with are kept and billed under the WHMCS account of our own. Then we either charge our clients for the license separately (lower price) or offer it for free.

We are sorry for any inconvenience it causes but that's the only way to do it at this point. Any paid addon you need from WHMCS, just let us know and we'll process your request as quickly and efficiently as if you'd order it from WHMCS directly. And this link is always available should you need technical support from the developer:
    https://www.whmcs.com/members/submit...ep=2&deptid=13

Please accept our apologies for all the confusion. We have no idea why you might have an account at whmcs.com as we never created or requested one for you.

Thanks for the quick reply Maxim
I know what you mean and understand that. It's not WHB's fault it was a mistake by WHMCS
When they realised what had happened they just deleted my account (should of got the Enom account while i had the chance lol)
One day i hope WHB will be able to offer Enom accounts as part of thier reseller packages this would be a good step forward i think.
    Regards
    Steve
