The part on the front of the name may make a very slight difference if everything else is equal but everything else is very unlikely to be equal.

So you meant that the way we pick a domain name also affect to SEO? How about the national domain name? I am using a national domain name of Vietnam from VinaHost. I am thinking to buy another with .COM. I dont know if .COM could be better for SEO

Not if your audience is in Vietnam - then the one you already have would rank better,

.com is so common it bhas no effect whatever on SEO apart from ranking below domains on the country specific domain of the country the person searching is in.

Of course the entire domain name has so little effect on SEO that it can effectively be ignored except by the top sites on popular topics - but then those have become almost household names anywhay and don't need to rely on search.

There are hundreds of other factors that have a much larger impact on SEO than the domain name does.

The domain name has so little effect on SEO that you can effectively use ANY domain name and get the same placement.

The only part that might have any noticeable impact is that if you use a country specific top level then that will rank slightly higher for visitors from that country.

Apart from that you are better off picking a domain name that is easy for the real people you want to visit your site to remember so that they don't have to use search to find it after finding it the first time.

.Com is the high level domain extension for the effective SEO. .Com(i.e commercial) This domain extension is more superior then other extension.

No it isn't. The top level domain has NO EFFECT WHATEVER on SEO. Search engines ignore it completely.

Read about how any search engine works and they will tell you that.

The only top level domains that can have any effect are the two character ones which will improve the ranking of the pages on the site for people in that particular country.

In some aspects I admire your point w.r.t SEO, I am here not talking about domains, or the parameter of domain, Its only about domain extension. .com extension is good and accepted worldwide, if it suits to your business nature! As per the analysis now a day domain name do not pay impact on SEO, It depend upon various other factors.

The .com part is completely disregarded by search engines - it makes no difference whatsoever for SEO what top level domain of 3 or more letters is used as they are all exactly equal for SEO.

The part before the dot has a small affect on SEO (rarely enough to notice as things are seldom that equal) but the part after the last dot only has an effect if it is a two letter country specific code and the visitor is in that country.

So .uk would beat .com for people in the UK, .au would beat .com for people in Australia and so on - with everything else equal the .com domain would rank below a country specific one.

I do not agree with you that Search engines ignore the .com domain. .coms have become the industry standard for domain names. Whenever you hear someone start saying www…you naturally expect a .COM at the end.

I didn't say they ignore .com domains - I said the .com makes no difference for SEO - .net ,org etc would rank equally with .com for SEO.

.com is the industry standard so there is nothing to distinguish between two sites based on that their domain names end in .com - the search engines can't put all the .com domains in first place in the search results so they discard the .com in the domain name when comparing pages.

Anyway, most prople don't expect something starting with www to end with .com - here they almost all assume it will end .com.au and so usually miss finding .com domains - the only country I know of where people generally look for international domains rather than local ones is the USA where people prefer to find sites from all over the world rather than local .us ones.

Well, I agree with you, that .com domain extension not makes difference for SEO.
