It may sound funny as you can find in this thread as well. There are a good mix of clients that are both pro and anti MF. It is working well for some and while others do not like it at all.

But majority is going to be the authority. I think a poll should be taken. After all its a *democracy*.

Every appliance costs us around $3k-$5k depending on the model and other on going costs to host it. Hence it would really help if the majority were up for it.

I agree with you. I'm on FISH and posted a msg 2 days ago on here with my issues (MF not working on my domain and I'm overwhelmed with SPAM) and haven't gotten any feedback yet. I'm very willing to try MF, but I need to work before I can evaluate it's performance.

I've created a trouble ticket for MF now working (CPO-258806).

Hi Crazy,

Fish was actually taken off of MailFoundry temporarily, and should go on the next appliance to be online. This was to avoid any performance issues as we start rolling out this service.
Any concerns at all, just let one of us know here, or in your ticket on the desk.

Here is an email that a client of ours tried to send; what's going on?

Email should roll right through now, and any emails that couldn't be sent will be tried again, and end up hitting your inbox. At this point, we've removed all servers from MailFoundry for tuning of the appliance, and eventually slow re-adding of servers.

Most of the spam was under control with spamassasin
I was successfully filtering most of the spam.
Now I’m going from 1 spam a week to 30 a day

I hope you still provide the old way as an option, as this is not going to work for me.

I currently have a MailFoundry hosted setup and while is blocking 3000+ spam messages a month. I still can't get over why it lets thru email that screams spam.

For example...

I'm getting 2-3 messages like this a day, and you would think messages would be filtered out by just looking at the subject of the email.

I was one of the beta testers and have loved being on Mail Foundry. I haven't received any reports of false positives and spam dropped from around 600 a day to only 1-2 a day. Within the last few days, I have started getting flooded with messages marked SPAM in the subject. Is this part of the tuning that was posted above? I hope you get MF working again soon.

Also, one legitimate message is now getting marked as SPAM:

*** SPAM *** Monday Update - FatWallet Daily Update

How long before MF is turned back on? I have received over 300 SPAM messages today.

Hi guys,

There was a problem with MF appliance delaying the e-mails. We've been watching it and found no other way but to turn it off and fine tune a bit. We're looking forward to start adding servers back to it and basically are waiting for the approval from the management.

I'm still getting LOTS of spam daily on my account. Is MF back up on FISH? Is there anything I have to do to enable it on my domain?? PLS HELP . I've reopened the ticket (CPO-258806)...they closed it b/c I was out of town for a few days and didn't respond within 72 hours .
