Critical e107 CMS vulnerability discovered
Ones who use e107 CMS, please be aware that several critical vulnerabilities were discovered in versions prior to 0.7.22, and they're being massively exploited over the past few days.
The exploit results in malicious content (namely - botnet scripts, web shell scripts and remote attack scripts) upload. Unfortunately we had to block several affected accounts already in order to stop hacking activity, extreme server CPU and network transport abuse.
We strongly recommend all e107 instance owners to upgrade to the latest version as soon as possible. You can find full incident info at http://e107.org/news.php.
Please feel free to drop in a support ticket if you have any questions or need our assistance. Thank you.
