Duration: 30 minutes for a single HDD replacement
Customer Impact: A downtime period during the replacement of each HDD
Reason: During our proactive server monitoring we have discovered performance issues with some HDDs on the carrier, therefore we have made a decision to replace HDDs with errors. This measure will restore the full functionality of disk subsystem and improve server performance and stability in whole. During the procedure we will replace 3 HDDs with new ones and rebuild current RAID 10 array accordingly. HDDs will be replaced one by one, and after each replacement we will check the performance of array with new HDD before starting the replacement of next one. We will post all updates regarding the current server status in this thread.
